History: The series "Kings" was modernized version of the David story in the Bible, set in an alternative universe-America called Gilboa. Gilboa is an absolute monarchy under King Silas Benjamin.

Jack, or Prince Jonathan, is the king's only son and the crown prince. He has a twin sister, Michelle. He is a major in the Gilboan army--a solider in the battlefield during Gilboa's ongoing war with the neighboring nation Gath, until he is captured during a battle and then rescued by David Shepherd. After this incident, Jack is reassigned to a desk position and begins trying to make a mark in court. He is even approached by his father's enemies to take his father's place when they perform a coup. (Neither the coup nor Jack's short rule are successful.)

Personality: Jack is ambitious, charming, and closeted. When he is in the capital of Gilboa, Shiloh, he puts on a show of skirt-chasing, but is in love with a commoner named Joseph. He is also a masterful tactitian in the battlefield, though he is not as ruthless as his father when it comes to court politics. He is loyal to the men under his command, generous to his friends, and a huge flirt. He enjoys the advantages being the king's son gives him, like a credit card tied to the royal treasury.

Appearance: Human male, mid-twenties. Blue eyes, dark hair.
